Genealogy Indexer adds full-text and soundex search capabilities to important genealogical resources available elsewhere online.

Search 196,000 pages of historical directories (business, address, telephone, etc., primarily from Central and Eastern Europe), 28,000 pages of 64 yizkor books (memorials to Jewish communities destroyed during the Holocaust), 11,000 pages of lists of Polish military officers, 23,000 pages of community and personal histories, and (NEW) 12,000 pages of Polish secondary school annual reports and other school sources. More genealogical resources are being added daily.

Optical character recognition (OCR) software has been used heavily to perform indexing. Results are not 100% accurate. To find what you are looking for despite OCR errors, select OCR-Adjusted matching when searching. Yizkor book search accuracy may be greatly improved in the future.
