Potaznik Family, Radom area, pre-WWII I am looking for any information about my grandmother's family; the Potaznik's. My grandmother, Etka or Eta, was born circa 1901 in, or near, Radom. She married Majer Dawid Grynberg circa 1920 & may have moved to, or even been born in, GLOWACZOW (GLOVITZ in yiddish). My grandfather's mother (Laia) & sisters (Heie, Perl & Ester) emmigrated from Glowaczow to Canada in 1920. Etka & Majer followed in April 1922: Etka was pregnant with my mother at the time of their emmigration. I have photos of my grandmother's family but no names. I believe her mother was a widow or divorced; her name sounded like "Ziesel". Etka had a sister who was married & 2 children, boy & girl. Her sister and/or brother-in-law may have been a tailor. Etka also had 2 brothers.....I believe 1 brother died before 1931. This is all the info I have about my Grandmother & her family. I have been unable to locate her Birth Registratiion which would help immensely. Etka or Eta may have been a pet name & not sure of spelling of Potasnik. A "Wulf Grynberg" of Warsaw is listed as a cousin & contact on their immigration papers.
